The Fifth Edition of the FUFA Women’s Cup draw from round of 32 to the Final has been held on Monday 11 March 2024 at FUFA Complex Mengo.
The draw conducted by Coach Olivia Mbekeka had 8 third division clubs and a none league team in Boni Consil Girls.
Having passed through a preliminary rounds which had 20 teams, the 9 teams joined the 23 teams from the two women football top tiers.
Defending Champions Uganda Martyrs Lubaga who won the trophy last season by beating She Maroons 1-0 in Kumi is hold a chance to become the first team to defend the trophy which started in 2017.
The team to defend shall see off their campaign on Road against Entebbe Pride a 3rd division club.
The game is scheduled to take place over the weekend of 14th-17th.
On the road to the final Uganda Martyrs Lubaga will have to hit humps with 2018/2019 finalists in Makerere University and Lady Doves may be teams to clash at Round of 16 and quarterfinals stages.
Besides the 3 most recent finalists faceoff before final Mpororo Queens, Boni Consil Girls, Isra Soccer Academy and UCU Lady Cardinals may other team to face for the Defending Champions.
