2023 Airtel Masaza Cup; Champions Bulemeezi sets date for victory celebrations as Kangawo receives the trophy

Bulemeezi County Chief (Kangawo) Ronald Mulondo receives the 2023 Airtel Masaza cup trophy from Bulemeezi county football team organizing committee at the event held at New Jerusalem in Luweero Kasana today, Sunday 5th November 2023.

The Bulemeezi county cultural head, has also announced that the Entire Bulemeezi county community will use Saturday 11th November 2023 to celebrate this prestigious football tournament achievement at Kasana Luweero Play ground.

“As a Munganda, i will take this opportunity to apply Buganda culture of thank giving, I thank the Organizing team for the great work done, The process has not been easy and also congratulate Bulemeezi people for this wonderful achievement.

Winning the Masaza cup is no easy, ever county organise the team to their best but thank you all for the support towards your team and the coaches together with the great players thank you, thank you so much for not letting us down.

Therefore I am announcing 11th November 2023 to be a celebration day for our victory, it is our third but Gomba has 5, we need to get our selves above them,” Kangawo Mulonda said.

Bulemeezi county football team defeated Gomba 1-0 in the final played at Muteesa II Stadium Wankulukuku on Saturday 28th October 2023.
The Celebration event shall have entertainment menu starting at 8:00 am as it is beyond celebrations. The day will also be used to officially launch the tittle defence program.

The entrance fees to the venue will be 10,000/= ordinary and 20,000/= VIP, tickets are expected to go on Market on Wednesday 8th November 2023.
