204 Clearing Agents graduated Friday 7th July 2023 at the 13th EACFFPC graduation

204 Clearing Agents graduated Friday 7th July 2023 at the 13th East African Customs Freight Forwarding Practicing Certificate graduation day. The 17th intake’s success story is a continuation the commitment to hold the industry to a higher standard.

These are the pioneers of the updated 1-year at EACFFPC curriculum.

Speaking at the graduation, Blenda Nakkazi Mwogeza Assoc CIPD – Chairperson National Curriculum Implementation Committee (NCIC) commended the graduates’ efforts and commitment towards the course.

“Don’t leave the skills you have attained here, but rather use these skills & knowledge as you offer service for the betterment of this your industry.”

Last month, an e-learning portal was launched.

“I encourage you to visit the platform and maximize it. More importantly, the economic development of our country is dependent on your integrity as clearing agents,” said Blenda Nakkazi Mwogeza Assoc CIPD.

Sarah Agnes Nyamwenge, Uganda Revenue Authority (URA)’s Ag. AC Learning and Development called on the clearing agents to wear their graduation gowns with pride and hoist their certificates with aplomb.

“I particularly commend you as a class for leveraging and embracing online programs after COVID made physical classes impossible,” said Sarah Agnes Nyamwenge.
