The Grounds Personnel Course for teams playing in the FUFA Women Super League and FUFA Women Elite League successfully came to an end on Wednesday with 33 participants rolled out.

The course commenced on Monday, 5th August 2024, at MultiTech Business School in Kampala with an aim of elevating the standards of pitch maintenance and management.

This training course, fully facilitated by FUFA in collaboration with FIFA’s “League Development Programme,” brought together some of the top instructors in the field.

FUFA instructors Jamil Ssewanyana led the participants through a comprehensive curriculum designed to address the challenges of poor grass pitches, which are often the cause of player injuries and detract from the quality of the game, particularly during live televised matches.

33 participants received completion certificates awarded by FUFA Deputy CEO in charge of football- Decolas Kiiza
