Kyambogo visits tough Bugema university in the UFL quarter finals 1st leg.

Wednesday 11th September 2019 Ugema vs Kyambogo at 4:00 pm.

Reigning University football league champions, Kyambogo University will travel to Bugema University in the first leg quarterfinal contest at Bugema playgrounds.

The two sides faced off in the semifinal last year with Kyambogo coming out on top after two legs wining 3-0 on aggregate.

Kyambogo assistant coach Lobbo Christopher expects an entertaining game and is confident that his side will exceed through to the semis.

Bugema tactician Nyanzi Meddie is hopeful of his team making it to the next level.

“This is the best moment for us to revenge to a team that denied us a chance of becoming champions last year.

We are very ready for them and i am very confident that we are going get a needed victory on Wednesday since we want to make it through to the semifinals as finish this at home,” said head Nyanzi Medie.

Kyambogo beat two time champions Kampala University 3-2 on penalties after a normal time 2-2 all draw to win last year’s championship.

Bugema stil in search of their first trophy ever.
