5TH EDITION OF AFRICAN KWETU TOUR LAUNCHED

The 5th edition of African Kwetu fuel economy tour launched today, Tuesday August 5th 2024 at Tio tours and travel, Green land tower in Kampala with participants promise a good show.

The launch was attended by sponsors of the event, Nsejjere Faisal Ssempijja represented worldwide movers while Timothy Ochen represented Tio tours and travel.

According to Timothy Ochen, who is the managing director of Tio tours and travel promised to support again this event for the third time and appeal to Ugandans to come and register for the event.

According to Ochen, to register for the event, one requires 850,000 shillings to participate and a couple, each will need 750,000 shilling and this fee include accommodation, feeding and transport.

Nsejjere Faisal, an official from worldwide movers thanked for the good partnership between worldwide movers and Africa Kwetu, this is the fourth year, Worldwide movers sponsoring this event.

The event will take four days and will start on 4, September up to 7, September 2024 and the official start will happen at Total petrol station ,wampewo avenue opposite hotel African.

Planting trees especially bamboos (mabanda) will be among the activities which will be done during this event where places like Mbale, Kidepo national game park which has the largest number of animals, Kapchorwa will also be toured.

This event is sponsored by ministry of defence, ministry of works and transport, Uganda wildlife authority, Roke Telecom and Rose foam mattresses among others.
