Uganda defends East African Badminton challenge title for third time.

The National Uganda Badminton team defend the 2019 East African Badminton challenge for third times.

Uganda defeated Kenya 2-0 (21-10), (21-15) on the finals to become the champion of the 2019 East African Badminton challenge.

The tournament held at MTN Arena Lugogo, participated countries from East Africa, China and India about 900 participants engaged in the 2019 East African badminton challenge.

Coach Simon Mugabi, the Chief executive officer take a thank to all rounder sponsors ,City tyres and Bosch.

“I thank all sponsors City Tyres and Bosch for the supporting the growth and development of badminton in Uganda. About 900 participants engaged in the East African badminton challenge, thus means a growth in a sport and even our junior team are in Russia participating in World badminton
championship”.

However, in Schools Mbogo high school take the best performing team as well Uganda Christian University (UCU) in all Universities.

The champions of the 2019 East African badminton challenge are warded with trophies and some prizes of cash money.
