Proline FC beat Katwe utd in Lugogo derby

Monday Result: Kakira United 1-2 Mbarara City

Proline recovered from a goal down to overcome Katwe United 2-1 at the Star Times Stadium, Lugogo.

Michael Lubowa scored the game opener for the Tulibanyivu side before, Proline replied through skipper Musitafa Mujjuzi’s penalty kick and the winner by Hakim Kiwanuka to secure a 2-1 victory Hon. Allan Ssewanyana’s Katwe utd as the defending champions book a round of 32 slot.

Meanwhile, in Amuria, Tooro United secured them selves a round of 32 slot after a 3-2 win over Star Light Football Club.

Whereas Kiryandongo Town Council srffered to a 3-1 loss at home to Kabale big League side Kigezi Home boys.

Whereas on Monday, Mbarara City Football Club defeated Kakira United 2-1 to secure a round of 32 slot thanks to goals from Solomon Okwalinga and Brian Aheebwa’s brace. Johnie Obonga replied for the Eastern region side to create a tense finish.

On Wednesday, three matches will be played in the continuation of the round of 64 stage. Kajjansi United hosts Vipers at Mutesa II Wankulukuku Stadium in the famous Entebbe road derby.

Busia Young will vs Busoga United at the Busia Integrated Primary school in Busia.

Bugamba vs Onduparaka in Bugamba.
