Real Star monthly Sports Awards
Real Star Sports Agency receives credit from Ssebagala.
Aspiring Lord Mayor, the Current Kawempe North Member of Parliament Haji Ssebagala Latif Ssengendo has credited the organizers of Real Star Monthly sports awards for putting up an inspiring avenue for Ugandan Sports Athletes.
At the awarding ceremony of January best sports Athletes held on Monday 17th February 2020 at Cooper Chimney in Lugogo, Ssebagala thanked the Real Star for the ideal which motivates Ugandan sports men and women and also argued government to set up a proper way for building sports Athletes.
“I thank the organizers for this initiative, we have not come in with the right way to develop our sports the only way we just come in support.
We have not lied a right of nurturing sporting athletes right from villages we just see them only when they have won something internationally. Each district would have been with process of nurturing sports men. I appreciate our sports women and men for keeping on shining in a herd situation they are living in” The event has been the Seventh edition for the Real Stars sports award which was first organised in October 2018 with the sixth edition which has been the last before today was held on 4th November 2019.
Today it have awarded four winners; from Rugby, Football for players and Coaches as well as Boxing.
Kawempe Muslim’s Juliet Nalukenge won the football award over Said Kyeyune and Rwothomio Cromwell of URA FC.
In Rugby Scot Olouch was the winner and Isaac Masembe became the best over David Ssemujju Kavuma and Doreen Nassali.
The agency Chief Isaac Mukasa has also confirmed the newly sponsorship partnership with forte bet which give the betting company the naming rights of the awards “Forte Bet Real Star Sports monthly awards”
