Only six UPL teams have been drawn to fellow league clubs that make three all Uganda Premier League team fixtures in the Uganda Cup round of 16.

This was confirmed on Wednesday as the at FUFA House in Mengo when FUFA competitions department conducted the draws

Nine-time winners SC Villa have been drawn to a fellow UPL club Mbarara City FC in fixture will be played at SC Villa’s home.

The second UPL clubs tie will be between Kyetume FC against Maroons FC with Kyetume playing at home, while the third all top flight clubs fixtures will see URA FC hosting Wakiso Giants FC.

Record winners KCCA FC have been drawn to face Big League side Dove FC, whereas Tooro United will be at home to Kitara FC.

Free Stars, the only side playing outside both the Uganda Premier League and Big League-remaining, will face a difficult away trip to Kataka FC.

Proline FC are the defending champions of the competition having defeated Bright Stars on penalties in last year’s final.

KCCA FC and Express are the record winners of the competition having won it on 10 previous occasions each.

Round of 16 matches are expected to be played between 10th – 15th March 2020
