Kabale University remains perfect after two matches of their debut season.

Niwagaba Peter scored the late winner a second win in two matches for debutant Kabale university.

Kabale handed fellow debutant University of Kisubi a second loss in two games also. The game ended 2-1 was played at Kisubi on Sunday 1st March 2020 with Muyambi Devis scoring a header in the 12th minute for Kabale’s Opener.

UNIK equalized through Prince Aryatuha own goal when he connect Turyamureba Williams fantastic cross which followed a very beautiful buildup with 80 minutes counting on o’clock. Niwagaba’s winning goal arrived in the 88th minute of the game to send Kabale on top of group A with 6 points.

University of Kisubi has been in hands of Karl Baijahe Charlse due to the sent off of the their head coach Kabonge Allan when they were losing their first match to MUST 2-1 in Mbarara.

While speaking on the second loss Karl posted it to immaturity of his team “For sure when we got a late equalizer I thought that a point was fine since we are still building but a lot of immaturity in our players that costed us, I am going to back and work on that because it is something which can appear for teams which are just starting” Where as Kabale university tactician Nsubuga Farouk has got surprised by the performance of University of Kisubi

“when you compare what they played against MUST and what they played to today you will realize a lot of improvement,That means the league is getting more competitive.

“I thank God for today’s win now we on top of the group but it is still a lot to do. We have to remain focused to win our matches that to come so that we can qualify for the quarterfinals” Kabale university defeated 2018 champions Kyambogo 1-0 in their opening match.

The league shall commence on Wednesday 4th March 2020 as YMCA playing against last years finalist St Lawrence in Buwambo.
