The new board cabinet of National of sports swear in today Friday at copper chimney restaurant, Lugogo.
The ten members we be lead by the DR. Donald Rukare as the chairman and is to serve for two years. The state minister for sports Hon. Hamson Obua urged the new board to bring new ideas as they took to develop sports in the country.
“You take over leadership at the time when the federations have internal and external wrangles, we would not like to see those federations run to the minister”, Obua Hanson asserted. He also asked them to tackle the big problems like wrangles in federations with an iron hand. While the elected chairperson, DR. Donald Rukare thanks the out going board for the work have done.
“Thank the out going board for the important work that they have put across, thank the minister Hob. Obua to give each person a chance to participate vin sport. We want to build better NCS with the federations, athletes in general for sport discipline”, DR.Donald highlighted.
“Funding of sports and partnership are the areas where we are focused on and we believe that we are going to uplifted the sport and in the February 2021 we must have clear report shows the challenges and achievements we managed to attain”, he added.
Out of ten members, only three members are retained from the out going board, Zubari Galiwango, Agatha Namirembe and Cecilia Anyakati and the new board to serve only two years.
