National Unity Platform launched a campaign to solicit money totaling 1.17 trillion shillings.

The People Power Leader and President of the National Unity Platform, Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu aka Bobi Wine has today launched fundraising drive a head of 2021 general elections.

The campaign has targeted 1.17trillion shillings for the presidential campaign against incumbent Yoweri Museveni.

The fundraising campaign dubbed “muda ku muda” was launched at NUP offices in Kamwokya on today.

Speaking at the launch, Aisha Kabanda, the party’s Secretary-General said they are raising funds to facilitate the struggle to change the government.

Meanwhile Kyagulanyi who also commissioned the fundraising campaign says that the idea is to raise funds from citizens that seek change since all his businesses were frustrated by the regime.

Meanwhile Kintu Khalid lord councilor to be Kawempe North has asked the NUP members in Kawempe division to support the campaign.
