NRM’s Kampala Political Leaders Launch A campaign to Take Over Kampala

Kampala senior National resistance movement (NRM) members and flag bearers of various positions in Kampala have initiated a campaign dubbed “Kampala Ya Museveni Task Force” which aimed at campaigning for party flag bearers and their presidential candidate also chairperson of the party Yoweri Kaguta Museveni in the forthcoming general elections 2021, to retain his seat as the president of the republic of Uganda.

The campaign is spearheaded by party chairman also mayoral flag bearer Kampala central Salim Uhuru Nsubuga, and party national vice chairman in charge of Kampala Singh Katongole which was launched on Saturday at Katikati Lugogo Kampala before party national vice chairman in charge of Buganda region also state minister for tourism, antiquities and wild life Godfrey Kiwanda Ssuubi.

During the launch of this campaign Kiwanda revealed that, they want to politically keep and consolidate party glory in Kampala in the forthcoming general elections 2021, at all levels of political positions.
” In order to achieve our goal specifically in Kampala, we have to work with party structures and to focus on key core principals of, Pan-Africanism, Democracy, Socio-economic transformation among others,” he said.

Party chairman Kampala central division who is holding NRM flag on the position of Kampala central mayor Salim Uhuru Nsubuga, says that they want to totally take over Kampala this time around 100% for sustainable development.
“we have to be united, together, while following our party ideology so that we consolidate ourselves in power under the leadership of President Museveni; Kampala Ya Museveni,” he said.

Uhuru highlighted that, the team under this campaign is comprised of 30 party chairpersons from 2 sub regions of Kampala and central regions that will also work with party structures.
“We shall later be joined by some of other party members commencing next week following undergoing in screening,” he added.

In the same vein, Singh Katongole party national vice chairman in charge of Kampala says, the launch of the campaign is a great move towards the success of president Yoweri Kaguta Museveni in the forthcoming general elections 2021, and they will execute their work under the guidance of each other.

Other party members who attended the event are, Daniel Kazibwe alias Ragga Dee who is NRM party Kampala Lord mayor aspirant, Faridah Nambi who is holding party flag on the position of Kampala district woman MP, Bukyana Justine acting party chairperson Rubaga, Mahad Kaweesa who is party mayor aspirant Rubaga division among others.
