Buddu Ssaza vs Busiro Ssaza
The Masaza Cup organising committee headed by Suleiman Ssejjengo together with the Kingdom minster for sports and recreation are expected to announce and confirmed the the long awaited dates and venue for the 2022 Masaza Cup final and the minister Owek. Ssekabembe Henry is expected to officially announce the development on Thursday 9 February 2023 at Kingdom headquarters Bulange Mengo at 10am in press conference.
but the sources say all parties sat agreed to have the long awaited final Buddu Ssaza and Busiro Ssaza be played on Saturday 4th March, 2023 at the Muteesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku Kampala City.
This year’s final has been shifted from St. Mary’s stadium in Kitende ,that hosted the previous finals.
To reach this far, Buddu eliminated Bulemeezi at the semi final stage last year in October while Busiro saw off Ssingo 4-3 on aggregate to reach the finals.
Buddu will be seeking for their 4th tittle as they defend title they won in 2021 when they beaten Buwekula 2-0 to become the first team in Masaza cup history to defend it.
Busiro, who are the 2019 runners up, they will be seeking for their maiden title.
Entrance fees is expected to be at 20,000 Ug shs ordinary and 50,000 Ug shs VIP ticket respectively.
