The 2019 USSSA Ball games two slated to start on Saturday 06, July 2019 at Teso College Aloet Soroti district.
The draws for Uganda secondary school ball games II have today been conducted at National council of sports Lugogo in Oasis hall.
This, was officially conducted by assistant commission of sports Mr Sam odongo who graced the occasion.
The games are going to be hosted in Teso at Teso Aloet college school starting on Saturday 6th July 2019, where different schools which qualified at the region competition are going to compete in seven sporting discipline.
The games are also to act as qualifiers for the Fresh diary East Africa Secondary School games to be hosted in Arusha Tanzania meaning the best performing schools in this tournament are to represent Uganda.
The assistant commissioner, also reemphasized on the rules governing these games to apply ,where he challenged the organizers and schools to field in bonefide students, men and women of integrity in terms of officiating officials to avoid chaos.
In football more than 40 teams have been drawn into 8 groups in which the best two teams in each group will qualify for knock out round of 16.
Netball has got the highest number of teams which are more than 90 and were drawn into 15 groups where also the best two in each group will qualify automatically to the knock round with the best two number 3 to make 32.
In Volleyball: 64 boys team and 53 girls team confirmed taking part in this years edition.
Handball has 36 boys teams and 25 girls teams.
Rugby sevens only 15 team confirmed and as usual they play round.
Woodball by the time of draws they were 25 teams confirmed but co-coordinator Mr. Agaba said they still expecting more teams then draws will held in Soroti.
