Busoga United fined penalised for having an Ambulance during the gage

Fufa Competitions Disciplinary panel has fined Busoga United for breach of article 15 of the FUFA Competitions rules and article 16 of the Uganda premier League rules.

The team failed to provide an ambulance in their most recent games against Maroons where Sula Mpanga was seriously injured and rushed to hospital,

“The team failed to make available an ambulance during the course of the match.”

“The Competitions Disciplinary panel hereby sanctions Busoga United fc with a fine of Shs 1,000,000 to be paid immediately upon receipt of this decision.”

“Busoga United is further implored to adhere to the rules at all times so as to avoid bringing the game of football into disrepute.

Maroons player Sula Mpanga almost lost his life due absolute negligence of Busoga United.He suffered a concussion just at the stroke of half time unfortunately there wasn’t an ambulance at venue for medical support.

It needed maroons CEO Rodrick Muhumuza to whisk him away in his car to Rippon hospital in Jinja.

Maroons went on to win the game 1-0 a goal by Darius Ojok 74th minute winner.

Remember in November last year, Busoga United was also fined after it’s protesting in the 87th after Allan kayiwa scoring for Express fc.

Busoga United is 2nd last on the Startimes Uganda premier League log with 9 points after 15matches played and their next trip is against Blacks power at Akiibua memorial Stadium on Tuesday 21st 2023.
