Caf held a draw to decide between Uganda and Congo.

The two teams finished in a perfect tie a top Group B, after having squared in each and every thing considered, CAF had hold a draw to separate the nations in which Uganda won.

The Ugandans are therefore emerged the group B winners ahead of Congo. This qualified them the opponents of the tournament’s record holds, Nigeria who are the group A runners up in the epic quarterfinal due to take place on Friday March 3 2023 at Cairo International Stadium.

It’s strong to note that the Flying Eagles (Nigeria U20) are the AFCON U20 record winners having won the title for the record seven times.

They have taken part in the tournament for 17 times, ending as Champions in 1983, 1985, 1987, 1989, 2005, 2011 and 2015.

This year at the ongoing tournament, they lost to eventual Group A winners Senegal before beating hosts, Egypt and Mozambique.
