USSSA, FEASSSA President, Justus Mugisha together with schools sports administrator Christopher Mugisha were elected to the executive committee of the Africa school sport federation for the term 2023-2027.
This followed an elective assembly that conceded with the inaugural edition of the Africa Schools championship in Casablanca city, Morocco.
Joy after Mr. Justus Mugisha being elected the East zone president and USSSA administrator, Christopher Mugisha is among the five assessor on the executive from the different regions of Africa.
Justus Mugisha, the head teacher and director Standard High School Zzana is also the second vice president of the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA).
He is also president of the Football Technical Commission at the International Sports Federation (ISF) and now the president of the East zone at FASS.
Morocco’s Youssef Belqasmi is the president. He is deputised by three vice presidents; Soulemane Kone Mamadou of Ivory Coast as first vice; Smith Judicael Ayadokoun of Benin as the second vice and the third vice president is Joseph Olabisi Temitope of Nigeria.
Another Moroccan national Maher Abdellah is the general secretary and Kenya’s School’s sports administrator David Ngugi is general treasurer.
The South Zone president is Theophilus Nuugulu from Namibia, Uganda’s Justus Mugisha is the East zone president, the North Zone president is Abdelhafid Izem (Algeria), Center Zone president is Valerie Lebondo (Gabon) and Togo’s Ayouba Zibo is the West Zone president.

The five assessors are; Imane Mohammed Hassan (Egypt), Drame Djibril (Mali), Aaida Linglize (Tunisia), Christopher Mugisha (Uganda) and Abuy Mokoko Roberto Nzang (Equatorial Guinea).
