21 acres of land unveiled by Uganda Boxing Federation

21 acres of land have been acquired by Uganda Boxing Federation. At the press conference held at katikati restaurant, lugogo on Wednesday March 15 2023, UBF president Mr. Moses Muhangi, addressed the journalist about the 21 acres of land they have acquired.

According to Mr. Muhangi, 10 acres of land, at first was given to them by Kabaka of Buganda through kattikiro Owek. Charles peter Mayiga and Sports minister owek. Henry Sekambembe kiberu, which is located in matugga Gombe division while, 1 acre of land given to them is located in Central (kampala) and the other 10 acres land will be allocated to different districts and Cities by a one acre sequence per district, the districts to benefit include; Mbale, Mbarara, Jinja, Kasese, Busia, Gulu, Arua, Kabale, Soroti, as will directed by president Museveni.

According to Muhangi, president Museveni has already directed land commission officials to allocate an acre of land to each of the ten district or cities including one in the central.

“We thank president Museveni, for this wonderful support to the game of boxing, giving us land to develop boxing infrastructure will give us opportunity to tap new talents especially from the far distant villages, ” joyful Muhangi states.

At the conference, there other UBF members include David Agungo, a former UBF president, Simon Barigo, UBF secretary  and Kabwama, women’s representative.
