Aziz Ssempijja returned home safely, emerged 6th at Kenya’s Rift Valley Challenge cycling race

Uganda’s cyclist Aziz Ssempijja,was warmly welcomed by his fans at kanyanya,after his return from Kenya,where he participated in Rift Valley Challenge,which was in the level of Africa. Aziz, finished in sixth position in a race which was won by Charles Kagimu a Ugandan racing for Kenya.

Aziz,would have performed better but got an accident while riding caused by Kenyan rider but managed to pull himself down and continued with the race.

“I was supposed to perform better than how i performed but i got accident during the race,”Aziz, stated.

During his speech at kanyanya after he returned home, he appreciated all well wishers especially his manager BK, who did everything possible to see him competing in this event.

Aziz, reached kanyanya at 2:15pm as his fans were there to welcome him back from Kenya, Uganda field 12 riders but all Aziz,was in the top 10.

Azizi,used one million one hundred thousand shilling during the race including hotel expenses, participation fees, transporting his bike among others.
