Seeking to bounce back from a first-leg defeat in the UEFA Europa League quarter-finals, Roma host Feyenoord at Stadio Olimpico for the second leg on Thursday.

Feyenoord won last week’s opening leg 1-0 at Stadion Feijenoord. Mats Wieffer scored for the Stadionclub in the 53rd minute.

Lorenzo Pellegrini, Paulo Dybala, and Andrea Belotti have made a difference in the final third for Roma in Europa League play.

They are the team’s joint top scorers with three goals. Visitors Feyenoord have been a threat to opposition teams courtesy of Santiago Giménez, who has netted on five occasions in the current Europa League campaign, including two match-opening goals. The striker ranks third in the competition’s scoring charts in 2022/2023.

The visitors have scored in four straight Europa League contests this season. They haven’t been shut out since their group stage loss against Sturm Graz.

The home side, meanwhile, are scoreless in their last 183 minutes in the competition. They haven’t been on the scoresheet since a Marash Kumbulla goal in their round of 16 win against Real Sociedad.

Hosts Roma have been formidable on home soil this Europa League season with four wins and just one loss in five contests.

Feyenoord will be looking for their first away match win in the competition this season, as they have two losses and two draws away from Stadion Feijenoord. The Dutch side currently find themselves on an 11-match away unbeaten streak (W8 D3 L0) in all competitions.

In their last six matches in all competitions, Roma have won three, drawn one and lost two. They scored seven and conceded two over that stretch, scoring first in three of the six contests.

They had two first-half goals, while their opponents failed to find the net in the first 45 minutes. Feyenoord have won five and lost one in their last six.

They scored 16 and conceded six in that stretch, netting first in five of the six. They had seven goals in the first half, while their opponents netted four times before the break.
