AIGP Magambo hasted Police FC as they seek for return to the Premier League

Police FC team pays a courtesy call on Director CID afternoon, the Director,

Police FC team and its management as they prepare for the last games to determine their elevation in the next season.

The delegation that was comprised of players, management and the board members paid a courtesy call as they seek to revamp the old glory of the club.

During the meeting at CID Headquarters in Kibuli, AIGP Magambo thanked the team for the great performance so far this season.

In his remarks, he appealed to the team to work hard and ensure they go back to the Uganda Premier League next season.

“You can do it. We shall accord you all the necessary support to make sure the club is back to the major league. Just be firm and determined”.

The Director further promised the club that with guidance of the IGP and the top leadership of the police, the future was bright and that efforts were ongoing to mobilize key stakeholders to partner with Uganda Police to ensure the team is able to compete in the tournament.

Police Fc will be playing against Northern Gateway at home on 4th May and Booma away on 11th May 2023

Police FC is 4th position with 47 points from 26 games, 4 behind NEC who are in 3rd where promotions stop.
