
Uganda premier league side Maroons football club have unveiled Douglas Bamweyana as their news head coach.
Bamweyana who was fired by record champions SC Villa at the end of last season replaces Robert Ssekweyana who was interim basis, guided the team to top flight safety last season.
Ssekweyana took over following former boss George Best Nsimbe’s resignation in midway of 2018/2019 season.

Bamweyana who gained experience from Proline fc, Makerere University, Express FC, And SC Villa, will be assisted by Francis Mugerwa who previously served as assistant coach to Shafiq Bisaso at Proline fc & Bright Stars fc as well.
The CAF B licence holder is face a task of retaining Maroons fc in the league. Maroons fc have already acquired the left back Hamim Semakula from relegated Ndejje University in preparations for 2019/20 season.
