High scoring rates as the first preliminary round returns to action.
Following a 3-1 scoreline which saw Engabi Ensamba sending Nkima to the second round in this years tournament’s opening fixture on 11th May.
The first preliminary round had to return last week but the games got rescheduled as result of team officials filing in a plea for more time to organize teams so that they produce a deserving quality football.
With two games played at Kabaka Kyabaggu stadium and Wankulukuku stadium show that the request of games extension was meaningful.
Enjovu defeated Nkula 5-2, goals scored by Kakembo Uthuman, Ssozi Shaka, Batte Sheif while Muyomba James for Nkula at the played atMuteesa II Stadium Wankulukuku.
Obutiko beat Nsuma 5οΈ – 2οΈ thanks to goals from Kasirye Dennis, Kagende Edrine, Nkonge Saziri, Zimula Jaliru and Lumago Kawere as Kanaabi Innocent Mukalazi and Kimuli Anthony scored for Nsuma at Kawanda SS play ground.
Elsewhere, at Buddo SS play ground the between Enjobe and Enyoni Nakinsige was not played due the absence of Enjobe clan team.
Like Enjobe clan team did, Nkusu also failed to present a team to play against Amazzi g’Ekisasi.
Following those heavy wins, Njovu and Butiko progressed to the second preliminary round while Nakinsige and Mazzi ga Kisasi shall wait for the confirmation from organizing committee.

- Nvubu vs Nkejje
- Nvuma vs Kibe
- Nyonyi Ndiisa vs Kayozi.
