The same squad has only two faces including shooter, Mary Nuba and goalkeeper Stella Nanfuka as the players with World Cup experience following their appearance at the 2019 Liverpool event.

Others on the team are, Lillian Achola, Margret Baagala, Muhammad Haniisha, Faridah Kodondi, Norah Lunkuse and Christine Nakitto.

Also on the team are Shaffie Nalwanja, Christine Namulumba, Stella Nanfuka and Shadiah Nassanga.

Uganda is pooled in group D alongside New Zealand, Singapore, and Trinidad and Tobago at the event – joining South Africa, Malawi and Zimbabwe as the African representatives at this first Netball World Cup to be staged on the continent.

Uganda will be making their fourth appearance at the World Cup – having finished 13th, eighth and seventh in 1979, 2015 and 2019, respectively.
