People around different sub counties that make up Sing county have on Thursday 13 July 2023 contributed 47 million Uganda shillings towards Buganda kingdom in the competitive Luwalo Lwange project.
Speaking to the people of Ssingo at Bulange Mengo, On behalf of the Buganda Kingdom Prime minister Owek. Charles Peter Mayiga, the Kingdom minister for special duties Owek. David Mpanga has encouraged them to always respond to Kabaka’s call whenever he needs them as a sign of respect and obedience towards their king.
He cited hardworking, educating their children and protecting themselves against diseases, so that they fulfill the kingdom responsibilities when they are happy and healthy.
The people living in Ssingo county have commended Buganda Kingdom through the prime minster, for introducing the Mwanyi terimba project, which has helped many to fight poverty, and they asked the Katikkiro to continue training the coffee farmers on the different coffee farming guidelines, to avoid the losses.
The Kingdom state minister for local government Owek. Joseph Kawuki has urged people to work together to see things moving well in the kingdom of Buganda for the its development.
SSingo County chief known as Mukwenda , Owek. David Nantajja has revealed that the construction work for the kingdom hospital at the County headquarters is going on smoothly, noting that it has reached the window level.
