A number of KOs were registered at the week six of the Boxing Champions League held Saturday at Club Obligato

It was a night fire on Saturday at Club Obligato, Bombo road  as the 2023 Boxing champions league week six climaxed.

The night was full of action packed where as a number of knock outs were registered.

The boxing champions league is one of the burning sports competition which has attracted the attentions of many Ugandan and world sports allovers at the moment.

Among the KOs registered on the day were include,  Ali Nsubuga forced the referee to stop the bout in the third round against Thomas Kakooza in the 46kg junior category,  another KO came from Alex Kanabi when he punched Lawrence Tamale with lots heavy punches in the fifth round, which forced the referee to also stop the bout and this was in the category of special contest and the last knock out of the day, saw James Baraka forcing the referee to stop the bout in the round one against George Wejuli in the 92kg elite category.

Other winners of the day were, 

Gertrude Naava winning Christine Namuyomba by 3:2 split decision in the 60kg youth category,  Jovan Katende win by split decision 3:2 against Anison Muwanguzi in the 52kg youth category,  Shahal Walugambe win by split decisuon 3:2 against Isaac Katende in 71kg in youth category,  Halima Swalla win by 5:0 unanimous decision against Patience Alimo,  Innocent Amoko win 5:0 against Edward Kimera in 63.5kg elite category and the main fight of the day between Cobap’s Ukasha Matovu against Nansana Sande Simon, came at around when clocking 10pm and Ukasha proved the crowds that he was meant to be on the bombers squad after producing a good fight against his opponent,  though after the fight Sande Simon disagree with the judges decision of unanimous of 5:0.

Meanwhile, the 17 members on the bombers squad,  are in the residential camp preparing for the African boxing championship scheduled to take place this month starting 25 up to 5 next month , in Yaoundé,  Cameron .
