Hon. Nsanja Patrick boosts Bika football tournament 2019 as he offers 5 m for prize money.

The Bika Football Committee(BFC) has this morning sat in Bulange Mengo in Kisekwa court with a purpose of holding draws for Buganda Football tournament commonly known as “Bika Bya Baganda” quarter finals and semi finals as well.
Different members of different clans who have reached the quarter final stage have expressed some of their concerns on what they have so far seen in the ongoing Bika tournament among which are; the unprofessional code of conduct from referees, playing games outside Kampala which is more expensive.

 
Honorable Patrick Nsanja Kayongo Mabirizi who was the football team captain of 9th parliament by then representing Ntejeru south constituency, and the general secretary of Masaza football tournament who had come to witness which team will face his clan(Kkobe) in the next round, felt attached as the committee members trying to explain the team managers that there may not have a 3rd place play off game due to luck of prizes, Nsanja who was allowed to say one or two wards ended his speak by promising to give 5 millions to the organizers to distribute to all the best four clan teams of 2019 tournament
Two matches are still remaining on the round of 16, where Mamba Namakaka is play against Njovu this afternoo, then on Monday the crowd will witness Ente playing against Kibe clan at Wankulukuku stadium. 


Two stadiums will be used in the remaining fixtures that is Muteesa 11 stadium Wankulukuku and Kasana grounds in Luweero. The remaining clans have been advised to come along with dignotories belongs to their clans. 
After the round of 16 climaxes on Monday, quarter final games will begin on Wednesday 31st July at Muteesa 11 stadium, the following match will also be hosted at the same venue. Then on Saturday 3rd August the games will be played at Kasana grounds in Luweero. The Second round games will commence on Tuesday 13th August at Wankulukuku. 
The grand final is expected to take place on Saturday 31st August at Masaka Recreation Ground.
It should be remembered that last year it was Mpindi clan who emerged victorious after beating Nkima clan by 1-0 at Kbibi grounds in Butambala district.

Quarter final raws: 

  1. Mamba Namakaka Vs Mbogo.

2. Kkobe Vs Kinyomo.

 3. Nkima Vs Kibe/Nte.

 4. Mpindi Vs Fumbe .


Semi-Final raws:


* Winner between Njovu/Mamba Namakaka Vs Mbogo will play against the winner between Mpindi and Fumbe. 
* Winner between Kkobe/Kinyomo will play against Nkima Vs Kibe/Nte.
