A one day grade B coaching course for Ludo coaches, was held at their office headquarters , Nasana.
A total of 15 referees attended the course with each one paid 100, 000 for registration.
The coaches were taught different laws governing the game and tomorrow, Sunday 23 July 2023, the beginners course will be conducted at YMCA, Wandegeya and a large number of participants are expected to attend.
According to one of the participant, said that “this is good for us to improve on our skills and we hope a good return.
According to president Hussein Kalule, said “we have decided to conduct this grade B referees course because, starting next season, no referee will be allowed to officiate the super league ludo game without a grade B referees license.
The president, who was among the instructor, went on to complain about the unfairness resources distribution by NCS because he said before as Ludo federation, they were getting 33million a year but it was reduced to 10million while as federation are still getting more and moreover done nothing interms of performance.
The president went on to appeal to the coaches that this course or grade B will enable them to get opportunities in officiating in the big tournaments.
Capacity building and school competition were other items discussed on the day.
