Harry Kane’s wife and kids have reportedly been spotted in Munich as talk of a Tottenham departure ramps up.

The England international has been heavily linked with a move away from Tottenham this summer as he enters the final year of his contract.

Spurs chief Daniel Levy is determined to keep hold of Kane, or at least stave away English clubs such as Manchester United and Chelsea.

But it has led to Bayern Munich launching an attempt to sign the 29-year-old, who turns 30 next week.

Two bids have been made but neither coming close to Tottenham’s valuation of over £100million, but Kane is understood to be keen on the move.

And that has been firmed up by a report from German media giants BILD that his wife Katie Goodland and other members of his family have been spotted in Munich.

They have stated that Katie has been in the city ‘for the past few days’ looking for properties and schools.

The couple have three children together, Ivy, Vivienne Jane and Louis.

And any move away from London will have to have their best interests considered after spending their entire lives in the capital.

Joining Bayern Munich will mean his whole family will have to relocate in a foreign country with a different language and culture.

With a fourth child on the way, those concerns are only further amplified.

The transfer saga has rumbled on all summer and is only expected to grow bigger and bigger with each day.

Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou has admitted that the situation has left him stressed out.

The Aussie coach said: “Fair to say I am not relaxed about it! It’s not something you go: ‘Ah, well, you know if it does or doesn’t happen!’

“I mean he’s a very important part of this football club, not just the team, but the football club.

“He is such a massive figure, and as I have said already, whilst my focus isn’t on it on a daily basis because I’ve got other things I need to do, I know that every time I am talking to you guys, or whenever Harry is going to talk, that’s the first question you are going to get.

“So, you’ve got to deal with it, and I think, for everyone concerned, we don’t want to be doing it for too long.

“I don’t think that is good for anyone. I don’t think it is good for Harry, I don’t think it is good for the club.

“Because as laser-focused as we want to be, you end up sort of repeating yourself along the way.”
