It should be noted that FDC postponed the party elections at different levels around the country  to a date not communicated yet, due to the internal conflicts with in the party. They are using this time to make proper preparations for the elections to be conducted.

Before the elections started, members were regestered in the regester using their National identity cards and later started the election process.

During the elections, supporters were voting by show of hands and most of the contestants won un opposed. Only the post of the people with disabilities was competitive between 2 people who were given chance to speak to the voters before people voted for them.

After the elections, as the FDC chairman who was voted, Masai Namutaali had just started speaking to the supporters, a group of other FDC members emerged showing dessatisfaction towards the conducted elections saying, they are out of the law.

This group tried to destroy the regesters that were used but the organisers managed to escape with them and hid them in the car. The opposing group accused the members who conducted elections, for leaving out some FDC members yet the opposite group claimed that they informed them, but they ignored.

Some members who have been part of the elections said the process was not clear enough  because they did not know about the elections until the day they were conducted.
