KITARA UNVEILS NEW SPONSOR JONARD CONGLOMERATE INVESTMENT LIMITED (JCIL)

Kitara has confirmed Jonard Conglomerate Investment Limited (JCIL) as their latest sponsor for a period of two years in a package that is worth 200 million Uganda shillings.

The deal was officially signed and unveiled on Saturday evening by the two parties in Hoima.

Kitara club president, Deo Kasozi Akiiki led the delegation which included former club presidents Godfrey Bamwenda and Denis Musinguzi among other members of the executive.

This comes at a time when the Royals are preparing for the 2023/24 Uganda premier league season which kicks off next month.

JCIL president Jonard Asiimwe, who is also a Kitara FC supporter owns a wide range of businesses which include events management, land surveying and mapping, Cargo transportation among others which have attracted commercial, industrial and private sector clients.

He is the first person to acquire the platinum partnership which is the highest among the sponsorship packages of the club. For one to qualify for it, they must have over 280 million shillings according to our revised rates.

“On behalf of Kitara football club, I would like to officially unveil our platinum sponsor, Jonard Conglomerate Investment Limited. They have given us 200 million shillings and the deal will run for a duration of two years. Thank you for supporting Kitara and football altogether, ” remarked Deo Kasozi.

The deal will see Jonard Conglomerate Investment Limited adding their name and branding to the home, away and third kit.

“We are very glad to be part of the family of Kitara FC. We want to work together to see that our team succeeds. We have love for the people of Bunyoro and fans of Kitara FC,” stated Jonard Asiimwe, president of JCIL while promising even more support to the team in future.

“We are an organisation that deals with results. So if you can get positive results there are so many things we can achieve together,” Asiimwe told the Kitara FC players in attendance.

This milestone is as a result of the growing fan base that saw the team win the FUFA Big League last season to earn promotion.

Jonard Conglomerate Investment limited is the second company to partner us after Kinyara Sugar limited who came onboard earlier in February.

Kitara has brought on board several exciting new players plus a technical team headed by Brian Ssenyondo formerly at UPDF.

The Royals will kick off in their Uganda premier league fixture with an away trip to Wankulukuku stadium where they will face SC Villa on 15, September.
