The 2023 Uganda national Ludo super league resumes on Thursday 7 September 2023 with seven games on match day 22 fixtures.
This fixture has come in time when Uganda Ludo Federation has just concluded the screening of national team(Uganda Doves) players for the forthcoming ALCON 2023 tournament that will be hosted by South Africa, where Uganda will have to defend the title they won two years ago. Despite having not yet get any positive information about monetary support need from either NCS or ministry for the team to start preparations for the tournament, the federation still have hopes for the team to defend the tittle in South Africa.
This is the last league fixture before the ALCON 2023 tournament. Players selected for the national team will also be allowed to participate in games according to league organisers.
In tomorrow’s games defending champions, Nansana Galaxy who won their last league match 3-1 against Ntinda utd away will be battling it out with Kubbiri who secured a 4-0 victory at Buyende at Container along Gayaza road, whereas table leaders, Masaka Giants who drew 2-2 with Kiboga Young in their last league fixture will be at home against second positioned Buyende utd, as third position Nansana All Stars will travel to Gulu City who lost 3-1 in their last league encounter to Nakawa Market.
