FUFA president Hon. Magogo meets delegates over extension of his term of office ahead of actual 99th FUFA AGM

FUFA president Hon. Moses Hassim Magogo has today, Monday October 2nd started holding meetings with FUFA delegates.

It is speculated that, among football issues to discuss in these meetings is Hon. Magogo and his executive are trying to convince delegates to extend their term of office that expires in 2025 for more years to enable them remain at the helm of Uganda football mother body without election interruptions  until the time of hosting the 2027 AFCON that was award to the three East African countries(Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania) to cohost under the umbrella (PAMOJA
TUNAWAKILISHA). Hence making them the first ever country’s FUFA president and Executive to have hosted the biggest and prestigious continent Football tournament.

Hon. Magogo started his initiative by meeting the FUFA Special Interest Groups delegates at FUFA Complex Mengo, these include, Uganda Women’s Football Association, Uganda Referees Association, Futsal Association Uganda, Uganda Beach Soccer Association, Uganda Youth Football Association, Uganda Players Association, Uganda Coaches Association of whom the two delegates and the association C.E.O were summoned.

Tomorrow, Tuesday 3rd October is expected to meet Kampala and Buganda region delegates, On Wednesday 4th October will be meeting
FUFA Women’s Football delegates and FUFA Super League delegates at Mengo while on Thursday Big League delegates and then he will meet the remaining group of delegates from upcountry regions on Friday, October 6th, plea to the actual 2023 FUFA AGM, that will commence on Saturday 7th and end Sunday 8th October.

FUFA General Assembly is comprised of more than 86 delegates representing 8 FUFA regions, FUFA Special Interest Groups Uganda Super league Clubs and FUFA Big League Clubs.

FUFA is holding its 99th Ordinary General Assembly this in Moroto, this will be the first ever extended FUFA AGM as it is scheduled for
two days.
