Bugisu province team that started West Nile game

Tooro finished a double over Buganda as they reach Knockout stage thanks Yahaya Luuti effort which come at half an hour mark in a game played On Sunday 15th October at Kavumba recreation center.

The score meant that Tooro has repeated what they did at Buhinga during first leg tie.

Buganda come in the fixtures with an assurance of a Quarter final slot thought Tooro needed at least to avoid losing with two goals margin.

  With the result Tooro topped the group while Buganda progressed as group D runners up.

On other side Lango province proved to be the best group stage team by leading group A on 10 points with 6 points deficit over second placed Kigezi.

In group C Ceasor Okhuti’s men, West Nile lost 2-0 in Mbale to their host Bugisu Province.

Despite Losing West Nile managed to continue their tittle defence while   bowed out of the tournament.

 Group C leader West Nile pulled 6 points after 4 matches as they registered 2 wins and 2 defeats to find themselves in the same road with Buganda.

The 2019 champions Acholi Province also reached the last 8 where they will face 2022/23 runners-up Lango Province.

 Kigezi shall visit Teso Province before second leg encounter.

 While Tooro Province shall take on Busoga Province with all fixtures shall be scheduled by competitions.

QF3: West Nile Vs Buganda

QF4: Tooro vs Busoga
