The prime minister of Busoga Dr. Joseph Muvawala has comfirmed that the Royal wedding of the Kyabazinga His Majesty William Wilberforce Nadiope Gabula the IV an Ihnebantu Jovia Mutesi is to take place on the 18th November 2023.

This comes at a time when there are some documents circulated criticising the Kyabazinga’s wedding with a woman claiming to be the Kyabazinga’s official wife, which according to the kingdom, are  intentions of diverting people’s attention towards the wedding and disorganizing the preparations.

Addressing the press at the Busoga Kyabazinga’s offices in Bugembe Jinja, Katuukiro Dr. Joseph Muvawala dismissed all allegations against the Kyabazinga that are intended to put people on tension and withdraw from their King’s wedding.

Dr. Muvawala emphaised that His Majesty William Wilberforce Nadiope Gabula the IV has never got married to any woman, has no children and above all has never wedded here in Uganda or in any other country, therefore all allegations about His past relationships are false.

The Katuukiro therefore warned whoever circulates information about the Kyabazinga’s wedding and the two children, which was as well delivered to the Archbishop of the church of Uganda The Rt. Rev Steven Kazimba Mugalu, that investigations about their motive are under way. He added that they are yet to findout those people who intend to fight against the Busoga Kingship through disorganising the Kyabazinga’s wedding.

He has challenged the people circulating these documents to come out with full documents showing the Kyabazinga’s wedding, the details about the 2 children that they claim are Kyabazinga’s, and the details about the woman who is indicated in the documents that she is officially married to the Kyabazinga.

The Katuukiro revealed that they have so far arrested one suspect behind the circulation of the documents.
