UGANDA TO PLAY AGAINST SOMALIA TOMORROW

Uganda cranes returns to action tomorrow on Tuesday November 21th 2023 at 4:00 against Somalia in the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers at stade Berkerne Municipal stadium.

Cranes in the preparation of tomorrow’s game against Somalia, unused substitutes in the game against Guinea played a practice match with Berkerne Fc.

The game ended 0:1 in favour of cranes with Kitara FC’s man Dennis Omedi scored a for cranes.
Uganda cranes in the last 5 matches playing against Somalia since 2009, Somalia won zero games with a total goal of 2, cranes won all 5 games(total goals 17). According to the last 5 games, cranes has the highest percentage to win this game.

On Thursday November 16th 2023, Somalia lost to Algeria by 3:1 in their first game of campaign played at Stade de Nelson Mandela, Baraki. Goals were scored by Abdi(own goal), Bounedjah and Sliman while Abatari scored for Somalia.

Uganda cranes on November 17th 2023 last friday played and lost a game against Guinea 2:1 in the first game of ongoing World cup qualifiers at the Berkerne Municipal Stadium.

Goals from Adhibou Camara in 10 minutes and seydouba cisse in 90+4 minutes handed Guinea a win, while Fahad Bayo in 30 minutes scored for the cranes.

Guinea stole at the death, through a Seydouba Cisse freekick. Heartbreaking for Uganda who particularly played well. Cranes looked like can attack and possess.

This was the first game and loss under Mr Put Paul Joseph who was recently appointed on a two year deal.
Cranes under Put started Salim Omar Magoola in the goal with Kenneth Semakula, Abdul Aziizi Kayondo, Bevis Mugabi and Halidi lwaliwa in the backline of four.

Captain Khalid Aucho started in midfield alongside Bobosi Byaruhanga and Travis Mutyaba linking up with the front three.
The three players included Fayad Bayo, Milton Karisa and Rogers Mato.
