The Uganda Boxing Champions League season two (2) is set to climax on Tuesday 26th December 2023( Boxing Day) at UMA show grounds in Lugogo.

With a total number of 32 bouts, great organization by Top boy promotions will see the Sting powered fighters showcase all they got starting in the afternoon till late.

In the main bout of the day, Muzamir Ssemuddu “Mr Take Over” of Kololo Boxing Club will take on COBAP Boxing Club’s Broline Kimbugwe “Stylist”.

These two fighters managed to set up this final after topping their light middle contest category after collecting enough points more than Isaac Zebra Ssenyange Jr who joined the professional ranks and Depark Mawanda.

After the weigh-ins on Monday morning at the UMA show grounds, Ssemuddu promised to Take Over without negotiation;

“As Mr Take Over am going to take over without negotiation, all I want do present the best of the best to my fans I call them up all to come have fun and enjoy themselves as we take the belt.” Ssemuddu said

On the other side, Kimbugwe said he had worked on his tactics;

“I am the best in this business and have come along way therefore Tuesday will be my day to showcase what I have in my tank.”

“Of late have been working on some tactics and surely know have perfected so I only look forward to taking the belt home with my fans.” Concluded Broline

In the other bouts on the afternoon, Kassim Mulungi who headlined week 17 as he beat Eliphaz Mbaziira in a Round 5 – Referee Stopped Contest will be back in the ring as he takes on 2022 Africa Boxing Elite Championship bronze medalist Jonah Kyobe.

Just like all the other fights Kololo Boxing Club’s Mulungi will be taking on Lukanga’s Kyobe for the second time this season. This comes after the two took the lead in the 57 kgs featherweight Elite category.

In the Light welterweight 63.5kgs, Bombers Captain Joshua Tukamuhebwa from East Coast will take on KCCA’s Raskara Paul as Nakawa BC’s Yusuf Nkobeza takes on Ojok Alfred in the middle 75Kgs Elite.

Fan’s favourite Matovu Ukasha of COBAP BC will take on Lukanga’s Owen Kibira in the Welter 67Kgs Elite Category.

In the women, we will see Emily Nakalema from Katwe take on UPDF’s Erina Namutebi in the welter 66Kgs Elite.

The rest of the fights will flow as shown below.

Away from the fights, there will be more entertainment from Akadope band to cool off the heat and also help the boxers enter the ring in style.

The tickets will go for 20K Ordinary, VIP 50K, VVIP 100K and TABLES 1M.
