Stanbic Uganda Cup: Kampala region qualifiers final round set for Tomorrow Wednesday

Out of 44 teams that entered in Kampala regional Stanbic Uganda cup qualifiers, Only 8 teams still standing in the way to the round of 64 draw.

Kampala region is mandated to 4 slots at the round of 64 stage and Wednesday 3rd January 2024 is the day to decide on who will represent the region at the national level.

Kirinya SC is the only team remaining in contention entered at the preliminary round one.

Kirinya SC has passed Kyakise, Mutundwe reds, Nakivubo Boys and Ggaba United whom they defeated 1-0 at the round of 16.

Kirinya SC will travel to Kibuli police Primary School grounds to face Police Young FC who earlier eliminated Ntinda United and Lutembe having started after two rounds.

While Kireka United will host Teranova at Kampala Quality. Being a regional League side, Kireka utd started at round of 32 pushing out CATIDA FC and Buganda Road while Teranova passed through Born Talent, Kisugu United and Lufula FC.

Nsambya FC will be at St Peters hosting Mbogo United FC despite both teams region League clubs and has so far eliminated two teams with Nsambya FC beating Irish 2-0 after winning by walkover at Tooro United, Mbogo utd looks stronger and favourites having eliminated one of the best side Katereke Newlife FC in round of 16 .

Black Star will face Kyambogo at Kanyaya, having reached this quarter finals stage by eliminating  Waters FC and Katwe United to form a match against Kyambogo a fourth division team which has won Malcom FC, KJT on penalties and Lungujja Galaxy prior to this stage.

After the games of this stage Kampala region will communicate its Representatives at the national event.
