KCCA FC have defeated African Stars 2-0 to reach the first round of the CAF Champions league qualifiers, with all the two goals coming in late in the second half of the game held at Lugogo to secure a 4-3 on aggregate win over Namibians.
Coming into the game, the ‘Kasasiro boys’ needed nothing but victory to go through.
After some missed chances, the hosts looked frustrated as time running away as fans visibly restless.
Mustafa Kiiza scored a freekick in the 80th minute before Allan Okello doubled the advantage in the 88th minute to send the fans into crazy celebrations.
KCCA FC who had lost 2-3 in the first leg will now face winner between Matlama and Petro de Luanda at the next round with a ticket to lucrative group stages at stake.
