The Kabaka’s first Cabinet sitting for the year 2024 has highlighted on the Kabaka’s directive ‘No Dosing’ which His Majesty Ronald Muwenda Mutebi the II gave to His subjects last year.
Leading the sitting that took place in bulange Mengo, the Buganda Premier Owek Charles Peter Mayiga challenged the cabinet Ministers to work hard towards responding and fulfilling the Kabaka’s directive and as well work towards correcting the mistakes from 2023 following the Kabaka’s end of 2023 message to His subjects.
In His message, the kabaka called upon His people to work hard in the new year and try as much as they can to look at the work that was being done in 2023 and as well check for whatever that has not been done according to their expectations and put things in the right order.
Owek Mayiga commended all Kingdom departments and employees that emerged as good performing departments and asked those who did not perform well to check themselves and see what did not move well in their departments.
He as well encouraged them to keep the competitive working spirit as it helps employees in their departments to work for perfection.
