Yesterday, Wednesday February 21st, Justice Anthony Wabwire postponed the former CBS FM presenter Yusuf Baliruno aka of Uganda case against his former bosses (CBS Radio) to 8, April,2024.

This decision was made yesterday by his Lordship Wabwire at Industrial court , Ntinda because the column was not enough to go on with the case.

Baliruno, accuses his former Bosses (CBS Radio) for not paying his salary for the 20 years he was working as a presenter and reporter at the Buganda Kingdom owned radio where he used to present two shows, ‘akalippo k’ebidduka’, sports shows, broadcast live matches of Masaza, Bika and Uganda Cranes games and reporting sports news on their news bulletins.

Baliruno, who is represented by his lawyer Charles Nsubuga of Muwema and company advocates, said that they are still on right track, so they are waiting for 8, April to see what’s going on.

“I know Allah is there to protect me to overcome this case because i used all my youth energy to work for the better of this station but at the end i was chased away like a cockroach “, Baliruno stated.

Baliruno, last year declared no more to talk about Masaza Cup and Bika football tournaments until his salary payment is made by his former employers because he believes his efforts and hard working contributed to the development CBS radio station popularity.
