Bishop Kagodo opens a church in Kyabazaala

The Bishop of Mukono Diocese The Rt. Rev Enos Kitto Kagodo officially opened St.John Baptist Bulyanti Church of Uganda in Kyabazaala Parish Kasawo Archdeacon in Mukono Diocese and urged Christians to move with Christ in whatever they do so that they can succeed.

The Bishop started with moving around the church 3 times as it is a culture while opening up a new church in the Anglican faith.

During the same service, the Bishop confirmed over 57 children and challenged them not to stop going to church only for confirmation but to continue serving their Lord.

Bishop Kagodo challenged Christians to move with the Lord in whatever they do so that they can win as the Lord has helped them to succeed when constructing the church.

The Archdeacon of Kasawo Rev Moses Munaku kaama challenged people not to wait for the government to do everything for them but to engage in voluntary work for their own good such as cleaning their roads.

He appreciated them for furnishing the church, and encouraged them to continue contributing towards the construction of the new cathedral.
Kyabazaala Parish Priest Paul Lumenya noted that the country’s economy has denied Christians from contributing to church activities and reported to the Bishop that men don’t want to officially wed their wives.

He arged Christians to work together to contribute towards the parish project and noted that they are to continue emphasising the meaning of offering and giving to the Lord so that the people may learn to give back to the Lord.

During this service, the Bishop was accompanied by the Diocese Archdeacon Rev.Can John Ssebudde and the function was attended by Maama Catherine Kitto, Priests and their wives, Lay readers from different churches, among others.
