Very few county teams in Buganda, own their own stadiums and this affect their preparation for the Big tournaments like Masaza which is the current big tournament in Ugandan football which collects big numbers of fans in home and away games, that’s the reason why Mawokota country came up with the idea of constructing their own stadium to solve the out-coming problems.
According to Mawokota team manager, Denis Bugaya said that any time after the stadium plan approval, they will start with the work of constructing their own stadium at Buwama where they have already secured 9 acres of land.
According to Bugaya, the stadium will be named after Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi 2 and it will be called Ronald Mutebi 2 and it will accommodate more than twenty thousand fans and this will help the team’s problem of spending money during match day.
This will be the second time for Bugaya as Mawokota team manager and his first time, he helped Mawokota to secure third place after destroying Buddu in the third place game played at Wakulukuku stadium and this time, he aims to win this edition.
