Over 200 participants attending East Africa Goju-Kai Karate Do seminar

Currently Uganda is hosting East Africa Goju-Kai Karate Do capacity building at Lugogo Indoor Arena.

The two day seminar get off the mark on Saturday 16th Match 2024 and set to climax on Sunday 17 March 2024.

Over 200 participants turned up and the number left International instructor Frank Brandon impressed “It is the first time in Uganda but the number is interesting, this confirms how needful this initiative has been”

The seminar is under two International instructors in Hanshi 8th Dan Peter Brandon and 7th Dan Frank Brandon the two who heads the Sport in Africa as Peter serves at World body as Vice president.

James Kyewusa who heads the karate style in Uganda holding the country’s highest rank the 5th Dan briefly shared the norms of the sport and it’s importance “this Sport arrived in Uganda in 1970s we have grown in it.

It is an important Sport cause it gives good part of yoga which is a key at having good health as it turns out fats and it is a sport which can give methods of physical education (PE)

Uganda’s second ranked Dan on 4th Dan Ronald Mwanje has lighted up on the Sport status in the Country basically on complying with National Council of Sports.

“We are doing everything to follow all standards that puts us in good line with national council of Sports and we are doing everything to see getting full membership, the stapes are so far good”

The ongoing seminar is set to climax with Dan grading Championship.
