Kisenyi FC dropped lead thrice against Kabowa to go behind Luzira as Park FC awaits to extend the gap on top.
Kisenyi FC got held by Kabowa FC in a 4 all draw game played on Thursday 21 March at Old Kampala indoor arena.
Kisenyi FC came to open the league’s week 15 round sitting in second place and all started on the right note when AbdiKarim Abdullahi Ahmed and Shafic Dahir put them in a s2-0 lead but Kabowa cancelled the lead at the return of the second half with goals from Allan Kimbowa and Carlos Kaddu.
AbdiKarim regained the lead for Kisenyi and Kabowa levelled for the second time though Mansour Kintuo. Through Dharir Kisenyi again got ahead of the game once more but Baker Nsubuga grabbed another leveler which secure a point for Kabowa.
Following the draw, Kisenyi drops to third place with 32 points going behind FC Luzira who reached 33 points with a 12-3 win over struggling Kawempe FC.
At the return from their loss to KJT last week Arafat Ssentongo put on a star show by netting six times with Joshua Aziku notching a hat-trick while Edmund Bithum recorded a brace as Samuel Omara also registering his name on score sheet for Luzira
Luzira is now in second with five points behind Park FC though leaders has player one game less coming to action on Friday against Lubaga Grameen on Friday evening 22 March 2024 at Old Kampala indoor arena.
In the third match of the day, Aidenal FC through Kenneth Kisiro’s hat-trick the stopped KJT 3 winning streak with 4-1 victory over while, securing their second win of the season.
