FIT AFRICA CO-FOUNDER CALLS FOR PRESIDENT MUSEVENI’S SUPPORT

FIT AFRICA, is an association of wellness and fitness practitioners in Africa and it encompasses the fitness , health wellness , creative arts and sports industry in Africa and it’s a registered professional organization that came to being in 2016  to cater for the professional coordination and it’s mission is to keep Africa actively by focusing on the health and wellness industry through influencing fitness and health professionals to transform the lives of Africans and the whole World at large.

Today, Sunday, 24, March  afternoon at Kati Kati restaurant, Lugogo , the co- founders of Fit Africa from Nigeria  together with executive members of Fit Africa ,Uganda met different fitness instructors to discuss the way forward.

The session which started with a prayer was massively attended from different instructors of different sports.

Uganda was the first branch to be launched in Africa followed by Rwanda and Kenya respectively.

When addressing the gatherings, Tony Ukaemwe ,who is the coordinator of defit academy developer cumsuhs fitness and co- founder of Fit Africa  called for president Museveni support.

“Mr Byron, get time and go and meet president Museveni how he can support this project because it’s helping so many sports men “, Tony sates.

According to Patricia Maja, who is also the co- founder of Fit Africa said that the purpose of organising this session is to try to bring Africans as one and this will help us to accomplish our mission.

Bryon Okuba, who is the country director for Fit Africa is very sure that since they have one voice , the community will be boosted because we are going to work as a unit.

Akinola Moja, who is also among the co- founder of Fit Africa was the last speaker ,went on to argue all the participants to take this project as a business because in Asia, it earns a lot of money. Akinola, went on to credit Africans that they are the best in the whole world when it comes to sports and he gave an example of French National men football team which comprise of only blacks from Africa, Blacks winning 100m, 800m,5000m, 10000m and marathon and Anthony Joshua, the former heavy weight champion is a Nigerian.

Hillary Lusale , who is a freelancer fitness instructor was among the participants who thanked the founders to bring this idea which will help them to work under one voice .

Bryon Okuba, who is the country director and a coach educator of Black Pirates rugby club and Ladies National rugby team and fitness instructor of URA FC, Big Dog , who is the deputy country director, Nickolas Kamwesigye, the General secretary and also heads fitness department at Makerere university, Janet Namusoke, the Treasury and Mariam Nabalinya Kalule , the pro .

Nabalinya, is the first born of legend boxer Ayub Kalule and she is a fitness and dance instructor and the only lady who holds a safari license in Africa.

*Qualified owners of fitness and wellness facilities in Africa.

*Qualified fitness and welness instructors.

*Nutritionists.

*Medical /Health professionals.

*Professional sports men and women.

*Sports administrators.

HOW TO BE A MEMBER

*You are required to fill Fit Africa online registration form.

*After your online registration, you will be admitted into country Excom for evaluation.

*Soon the code to access or website.
