National Boxing Open championship set to climax on Saturday, Raskara, Kibira in last two bouts

It has been a busy week in boxing fraternity, Welcoming back the Bombers from Mandela cup held in South Africa where they excelled but Boxing was not seen only at International level even locally the experience was at high.

As always one of the best on Uganda Boxing Federation calendar, this year’s National Boxing Open was much than ever.
Closely 600 registrations were received for the Open and action have been taking place since Monday 22 April to taking a break on 25th April.

Now its all set final dance in rings of Logogo with 60 bouts on schedule starting at 8:00am Saturday 27th April morning.
Out of the 60 high expected sensational Boxing play two bouts must be keenly seen.

Paul Raskara of KCCA Boxing Club will come in the 59th bout of the against East Coast’s Jafari Onen all classes of National Boxing Champions League.

Despite being a hard hitter, Raskara is not only that but also an entertainer during his ring time.
For the Boxing followers there is no enough words to explain Onen but mostly are in agree that he is becoming great Boxer day by day.

That will not only be the special bout Owen Kibira from Lukanga will face Nerrick Tumusiime of Kololo High to write the final statement of the day.

Prier the day shall kick off with over 20 Female bouts and over 30 Male bouts all categorized in Juniors, Youth and Elite boxing with all Boxers representing countrywide Boxing clubs’.
