The National Boxing Open ended in shock as unexpected result appears in the main bout

Amateur big name in Boxing sport Owen Kibira was beaten by Nerrick Tumusiime by split decision.
In a fight which went on for entire three rounds it was judged 3-2 in a fight which left Kibira’s fans in unbelieving way while setting Tumusiime’s fans punching air.

Earlier entertaining machine Paul Raskara of KCCA Boxing Club won his fight also on split decision 4-1 beating Jafar Onen.
Despite individual loss Kibira was not sad all the night having a joy as his club Lukanga by far defended the club title beating the likes of Cobap and UPDF who got home with Silva and Bronze respectively.

To beat the club Contest defending Champion Lukanga tattled 121 points at Juniors, Youth and Elite in both female and male doubling second placed Cobap who managed 59 points while UPDF collected 44 points.

Since it was a day and night booval allot of winner was in place in different weights of different categories as they get a chance to join the Uganda Boxing Champions League nights.
